Dore Stein, Gründer und Produzent von Tangents ist ein DJ aus der 'San Francisco Bay Area', wo alles 1985 begann. Sein wöchentliches Programm wird vom lokalen Radiosender KALW ausgestrahlt und baut Brücken zwischen unterschiedlichsten Musikstilen, von Weltmusik über Roots bis hin zu allerlei kreativen Jazz Varianten.
