Presentamos los tres discos favoritos de Mundofonías de enero del 2023, con el grupo internacional afincado en Canadá Taraf Syriana, con ecos del Próximo Oriente y los Balcanes; los alemanes World Wide Wig, recopilando sonoridades globales, y los adigueses o circasianos Damir Guagov & Asker Sapiev, desde el Cáucaso. Continuamos con un viaje sonoro por los cinco continentes que nos llevará por Galicia, Norteamérica, Escandinavia, el Sahel, Nueva Zelanda, Corea y Georgia (la del Cáucaso).

We present the three Mundofonías' favorite albums for January 2023, with the international group based in Canada Taraf Syriana, with echoes from the Middle East and the Balkans; the Germans World Wide Wig, compiling global resonances, and the Adyghe or Circassian Damir Guagov & Asker Sapiev, from the Caucasus. We continue with a sonic journey through the five continents that will take us to Galicia, North America, Scandinavia, the Sahel, New Zealand, Korea and Georgia (the one in the Caucasus).

Concluimos el repaso de los artistas y otros profesionales incluidos en el Transglobal World Music Hall of Fame, con especial mención al Instituto Nacional de Música de Afganistán, hoy en el exilio. Continuamos con grabaciones jamaicanas históricas, fado lisboeta y la última Balkan World Music Chart del 2022, saludado a su número 1, el griego Dimitris Mystakidis.

We complete our review of the artists and other professionals inducted into the Transglobal World Music Hall of Fame, with special mention to the Afghanistan National Institute of Music, now in exile. We continue with historic Jamaican recordings, Lisbon fado and the latest Balkan World Music Chart of 2022, greeting its number 1, the Greek Dimitris Mystakidis.
