FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 24 YEARS, THE WHOLE WORLD WILL BE ABLE TO ENJOY THE PACIFIC MUSIC FESTIVAL "PETRONIO ÁLVAREZ"
For this 2020 edition, the most important Afro culture festival in Latin America will be held in multimedia format, between September 22 and 27.
Solidarity, resilience and resistance are the values that give identity to the 24th version of the Colombian Pacific Coast Music Festival "Petronio Álvarez" , which will take place from September 22 to 27, 2020, virtually at through the Facebook accounts @CaliCultura and @PetronioAlvarezOficial.
The meeting of music, the heart and spirit of the Festival, will consist of artistic presentations, embodying in its narrative the 24-year musical history of the Festival. With a high load of technological innovation, added to the most representative groups in Cali of the traditional music of the Colombian Pacific coast, this edition promises to be an international celebration of Afro culture from the Colombian Pacific coast.
Thursday, September 24 at 9:00 pm _(Colombia time)_ - Mar y Río. Zully Murillo and the Cali Philharmonic Orchestra in a concert that will fill us with nostalgia for the territory.
Saturday, September 26 at 9:00 pm _(Colombia time)_ - Montaña and Manigua. Each of the Festival modalities represented groups such as Mi Raza, Palmeras, Esteban Copete and his Kinteto Pacífico and Canalón de Timbiquí.
Sunday, September 27 at 9:00 pm _(Colombia time)_ - Puro Corazón. Presentations by La Pacificar Power, Herencia de Timbiquí and Grupo Bahía, closing the Festival that represents Cali as the heart of this meeting and will leave in the audience that feeling of connection, love and gratitude with the Pacific essence and with the vital energy that is nourishes from the force of music and cultural expressions.
